An Gela grew up and raised on an island, in the province of Quezon. She started realizing her love and care for the wild, farm, aquatic, and domesticated animals during her childhood days. So, she decided to pursue this passion and studied BS Biology and Veterinary Medicine. Her awareness and involvement in animal welfare became bigger and deeper.
She struggled and juggled balancing work and motherhood. She is a mother of 3 beautiful children. But these didn’t stop her from being a part of ANGKOP, knowing that through our organization she can share and be of help with the best of her abilities and with the most of the time she can offer. She became an official member of our team in 2019. It wasn’t difficult to say, “Yes!” to Doc Joseph and Ka Joms when they encouraged her to join them. She knew that together with their goal will be achieved – to be the voice of animal welfare society
