A great leader and a lifelong animal lover. Doc Joseph has been protecting and defending the animals and the people who love them before establishing Ang Animal Ko Protektado – ANGKOP.

Aldrin is a veterinarian by profession, an animal welfare advocate who promotes responsible pet ownership by educating the public about the importance of spaying/neutering animals to control the overpopulation of cats and dogs in the Philippines.   He knew that by taking care and protecting an animal, he is protecting and taking care of the owner and the community!

Dr. Isidra Padua

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Sid is a compassionate veterinarian and an active campaigner of rescue, spay and neuter, and anti-rabies vaccination programs of ANGKOP - Ang Animal Ko Protektado.  She was recognized by Philippine Veterinary Medical Association for her dedication and bravery as part of the animal rescue efforts during Taal Volcano Eruption in January 2020.

Dr. Angela Chua Cheng

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

An Gela grew up and raised on an island, in the province of Quezon.  She started realizing her love and care for the wild, farm, aquatic, and domesticated animals during her childhood days.  So, she decided to pursue this passion and studied BS Biology and Veterinary Medicine.  Her awareness and involvement in animal welfare became bigger and deeper.

Kathrina Gallano

Animal advocate, rescuer, adopter, transporter, and donor since 2014.

To date, she has rescued almost 100 dogs.  With the dedication, passion, and commitment she has contributed to animal welfare society and animal rescue groups, she has been acknowledged and invited to be part of their team including (Philippine Animal Lovers Society Worldwide) as a local coordinator.

Ann is a proud fur mom, foster parent, and animal advocate.

Ann has always had a great admiration and love for animals.  She connects and creates a bond with them easily.  No wonder why she’s been an active animal rescuer and rescue coordinator since 2019.

It was in 2020 when she got involved with ANGKOP, actively participating and doing works out of love and compassion for the same advocacy.  She met Doc Joseph and his team on an animal rescue effort.  They were volunteers involved in animal rescue and relief operations in the vicinity of Taal Volcano.

Joel joined us in 2022 and committed to provide us with his knowledge and expertise as the organization’s Web Developer.

Kai shares her love for animals with her family, who has 2 fur babies at home.  She started taking care of her own pets at a very early age, and in that time, she enjoys and shares this passion with her sisters. Now, she's teaching and sharing this with her daughters.

Alex Nicole Reyes

Coordinator

Nicole handles the administrative tasks for ANGKOP.  She keeps our project running smoothly, from equipment and supplies, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments.

 

She ensures that our schedule, budget and details of any given task are well organized.  She handles our communication, channels information, to keep everyone on board about the organization, specifically operational, mission, project-related activities. She organizes reporting, plans meetings and provides updates to the management.
